Once water has been treated to a potable condition, it must be distributed to consumers. Pumping stations are used to transport and boost this clean water throughout the distribution systems to provide potable water at desired pressures. Additionally, water booster stations are utilized in “reuse” water systems where the water is not for human consumption, but used to irrigate parks, recreational areas and golf courses.
